How do I know which program is right for me?

Many students are unsure of w在这里 they can study abroad, 什么对他们来说是正确的, because of factors like transferring credits or financial aid. Your Office of Global Initiatives has vetted 和 made agreements with the partners 和 providers to ensure that the institutions have courses 和 programs that closely align with NJIT's coursework.

Part of the application process will be about asking these questions, 和 you have your academic advisors 和 financial aid advisors who can help you answer these questions. So, w在这里 do you rate transferring credits or graduating on time? 财务是优先事项吗?? Most students rank these are their top two priorities.

These two are great for students who want to pay NJIT tuition 和 have most or all financial aid 和 scholarships apply to their tuition. 有学费互换功能, studying abroad NJIT Exchange Partners 和 全球E3 will look mostly the same as your regular NJIT tuition bill.

NJIT只需要支付学费, which means you will need to pay housing 和 for meals when you are abroad. Most financial aid 和 scholarships still apply but are program-dependent. Please ask your study abroad advisor about scholarships for this part.

ISEP

This program is great for students who have either full scholarships, 住房奖学金, or a meal plan scholarship or combination of all. ISEP has the same tuition-swap feature as the Partners 和 全球E3, 和 has NJIT meal plan 和 housing rates. 如果你已经住在校园里, have a scholarship for one of these items, 和/or paying the NJIT housing 和 meal plan rates are within your budget, 那么这对你来说是最好的.

How do I apply for a study abroad program when I know which program is right for me?

NJIT offers multiple programs year round (summer or winter terms, one semester or a full academic year). Many universities offer courses taught in English so language proficiency is not required.

申请过程 Applying to study abroad is easy!

Undergraduate students must have a sophomore, junior or senior st和ing 和 must have a grade point average of at least 2.75. Graduate students must have at least a 3.0的绩点. After applying to our office 和 being approved, students must apply directly to their school of choice.

2. Submit the application with a copy of your passport, insurance card, 和 essay.
3. Receive approval to study abroad via email.
